Activities:
- Holiday Video Storyboard - Create a storyboard for a holiday video idea. Focus on your storyboard being a visual representation of your idea. You must focus on planning the rule of thirds and basic editing and transitions in your storyboard. You will use this storyboard to make your video over the next few classes. Due by the end of class.
Requirements:
- Show the rule of thirds applied in your shots/frames
- Plan for a 60 second minimum video. No fewer than 12 frames in your storyboard.
- Write out dialogue.
- List editing techniques and/or transition planned for each frame.
- Apply video overlay/green screen.
- Apply a mix of close up, wide angle, and mid range shots.
- List any special effects, sounds, or music to be used in shots.
You may create your storyboard using a pdf template, create your own, or even use Canva. In Canva just search for storyboard and there are numerous templates available.
